This problem is called humans and is th biggest problem we have in the farm nowadays. ¿What can we do against this problem? We neeed a revolution, a total tranformation of the farm, we need to expell humans from the farm and all of our problems will be solve. We will do an animal government, we will make our own rules, we will work only for us. Everything will be better it will be a perfect farm, a prfect society. We will be Happy. ¿HOw we can do this? We need to form aan animal army, we need to buy arms, and kill all the humans. We need to hide our milk and eggs from the humans so then we can sell it and win money to buy arms and after that, we will not need to sell aour eggs any more, only our children will take our milk, and we will be happy. IN conclusion all of aour problems is because humans are controling this farm, animal must be free and and have our own republic. We animals we must have a dream and that dream must be to be happyand we only will be happy if we are free, so our maximun dream is freedom.

Written Assignment Correction

Rationale The Kite Runner is a novel about a boy called Amir, that lives in Afghanistan, and has a very close friend that is also his servant called Hassan. My text will be linked in various aspects of the novel because for this written task, I chose to write a letter from Amir to Hassan, both characters in the novel “The Kite Runner”. The principal theme will be their relation as friends. This letter is written from Amir as an adult, who has grown up, not just physically, but emotionally, he is more mature than in the novel. He expresses his feelings and remembers different situations, where he was unfair to Hassan, moments that he feels guilty for. I chose to write a letter because I think it is the best type of text to express someone’s feelings to another person because it is intimate, and you can easily narrate things that have happened in the past from an emotional point of view. The letter was written in a semi-formal language, because they were friends, very close during their childhood, but they broke their relation, so it must be a semi-formal language because they have not talked since then. Writen Assignment Preparation Afghanistan EEUU Kabul San Francisco Kebaba Street Carrot Street 215 716 9th September 2015 Dear Hassan, The main reason I am writing this letter to you is because I want to apologize. Many years have passed since the last time we saw each other. I never told you, but I wasn’t the same after the kite incident. I never forgave myself after everything I did to you, the truth is that I was not fair with you. I am not going to give you any excuses, because I do not have them, the only thing I have is guilt. I never told you this, but I have always thought you knew. When you ran that last kite at the tournament, you never came back, so I went and looked for you. I saw everything that happened that day, how Asseff threatened you, how you defended that kite for me, and also how Asseff raped you. I was jealous because I could not protect myself, and you always stood up for me. When I could not get the courage to interfere while Asseff was raping you, I projected my shame for this on you, and I am sorry for that. The reason I feel shame and guilt for this, is that I was not brave enough to do something, I abandoned you, a thing that you would have never done. As you said, “For you, a thousand times over”. I have never stopped thinking about that moment, I have nightmares, everything for the guilt I have been feeling over these years. Until now, because as I have been doing, I want to express my feelings to you, I want to unburden myself. The truth is, I have tried to bury my feelings, and memories about everything I did to you, lock them away, and never look back. However, it is not possible to hide such painful memories that are the origin of my guilt. I still remember the pomegranate tree, we would go there and read. You would hear my stories, we spent our closest moments in there. One day, I asked you what you would do if I threw a pomegranate at you. You said nothing, and I just threw it at you in an attempt to get you angry and fight. It did not work, as usual your loyalty was superior to anything. Nothing could make you fight with me or hate me. I probably did this because I envied you, because I could not stand for myself in the same way you stood for me, you were always there to protect me, and I wanted to be like you in that way, but for protecting me I have not been able to thank you yet, and I hope one day I can And one of the things I am most ashamed of, is for putting that watch in your room, so Baba would be angry at you and kick you out. That was my main objective that day. But, as usual I overestimated your loyalty, you accepted blame for stealing that, and baba forgave you. Sadly, I succeeded, not in the way I had planned it, but you left with Ali. That was the last time I saw you, and I have two things to say, I am sorry and that I have missed you. I hope we can talk about this and that you can forgive me for the horrible things I did. Your friend, Amir.

Task about reservations

When and why were reservations founded? Some friends told me that reservations were founded on the 18th century, and they were founded because they want to preservate the native amiricans traditions and culture. How different are they from national US land? The difference between national US land and the reservations is that the national US land protect special areas of the EEUU, like the grand canyon Why do so many Native Americans live outside the reservations? Because the conditions of life in the reservations are not very good, so they prefer to live outside them Do reservations help preserve tradition and culture? Yes, because is like a animal reservation and in an animal reservation you can preservate a specie, and is the same here, but preservating the tradition and culture from the people in the reservation.

Task 2 friends argumenting

-a We want to have a son and the safest way to do that is with this new technology, "The IVF" so we can select the sex. -s I appreciate your point of view, but I totally desagree with you because when you do this you lose all nature of the situation. -a You are not considering all the benefits, this is the best way to have a family balance with one alongther and a son, and also it is a really modern technology and we can afford it. -d You both are totally wrong, because the child is only a waste of time, money and also a nuisance. -s Also it's very inappropiate to do this because he can be born with malformations in some part of his body. -a As I said before this is a really modern treatment, so it issafer to have a son this way than the natural way, and the sex will be the one we want. -s This treatment is not totally proved and also you feel very wrong doing this because this is ethically bad.

1 Task

This is the first e-mackay task which must be uploaded by August 5th. Write down a 100-word reflection (1 paragraph) in which you will answer the following questions: 1.4 If you were a doctor developing the technology to clone humans, how would you answer the following questions? a Where would you conduct your cloning of humans? b What kinds of people would you clone? c What is more important: cloning the first human ever, or creating a healthy cloned child? d Would you want the world to know about your experiments, or would you want to keep them a secret? If I were a doctor developing the technology to clone humans, I would not awnser this type of stupid question I would be using my time developing the technology, so I can hopefully improve the world. But this is a task so I think my conduct about cloning humans would be a very liberal one because I think if we can do something we shuold explote it, we shouldnt be reserved beacause god will punish us fo doing not natural things, if god doesnt want us to do this, he sholdt gave us the human mind because we are not like animals we always want more. I would clone people for money so the rich people would pay for a clone and then they will hav a perfect organ doner,is more important to create a healthy child clone,I wuold want that the world now about my experiments so i would have more advertisement

Differences and similarities between Chile and New Zeland

Between Chile and New Zealand we can find both cultural and social differences and also similarities. First we can start with a difference, the aborigin culture in Chile is the Mapuche culture and in New Zealand they are the Maori, in NZ they respect a lot that culture and the Maori also have influence in politics, also the society accepts them, but in Chile the Mapuche are not respected and there a lot of problems with them. Another difference between Chile and New Zealand is that in NZ Dinner is really important, because it is the moment that all the family is together, they can talk and share things about their day. At breakfast time and lunch they don't eat a lot, that is not the same as Chile because the most important time to eat for us is lunch and at dinner we don't eat too much. Also we were colonized by the spanish empire and they were conquered by the british empire so we have alot of different foods, habits and sports. Two examples of that is that they eat fish and chips that is a typical food from England, also they play cricket and rugby. The most important difference for me is that New Zeland is a really secure place and also it is realy clean because no one writes things in the walls(grafitti). A similarity is the weather because it is really windy and it is simiar to the weather at the south of Chile.

Monday, June 8, 2015

What is it to be a New Zealander? Being a New Zealander has some similarities and differences from being a Chilean. Being a New Zealander implies being a kind, generous and unprejudiced person. New Zealand’s society has more than one culture in it, maori, asians, etc. And they all live together and they don’t care about your skin color, appearance, etc. They are a multicultural society. One aspect of New Zealand is their way of eating, at breakfast they don’t eat a lot, at lunch they eat a sandwich and when they eat dinner, they eat a lot, it is an important moment for them because they can share a moment with their families and talk about their day. New Zealand is also a safe place, the people that live in here don’t steal, for example in the subway, people leave their phones charging and then they go somewhere else and when they come back they will still be there (everyone knows in Chile that won’t happen), stealing isn’t part of their society as it is in Chile. In New Zealand they also take care of their cities and green areas, if you walk in Wellington, it is really weird to see trash or anything written on the walls, it is a really clean place.

Letter

                                                                                                                        March 17th  2015

Dear Augusto,

Fairtrade is a way for poverty reduction and workable deveplopment, they want to create apportunities for excluded people. Fairtrade helps them to join a bigger market.

This is a really good way for poverty improvement because they help that the farmers and manufacturers are paid a fair price for the prodects they make, they do this, because right now in the world there is an unfair  trade and that produced poverty.

another good thing about "fairtrade" is that they have a label in all their products that represent, that is an excelent product and when you buy something with the label you are helping people economically disadvantaged and with that, you are helping to end poverty.
Also fairtrade products are high quality or organic an consumers paids an extra little money, so money for what they have done.
So i think fairtrade is a really good strategy for poverty alleviationno matter what economists say.

Sincerily

He is different because  he is black, he might fit in my social environment because in Chile we aren't racists, and here being black, whitee or asian is not a problem

In the school don't happened to many discriminatory incidents but, a discriminatory indicent I remember that ocurred in the school was that a group of people start bothering a youngest boy of a lower grade because they said he was ugly, and they bother him constantly, until a teacher saw what the group of boys was doing and the teacher gave them a detention and they must said sorry to the younger boy.

What do you think about racism?

"Can you honestly say that I'm better than you or you are better than me, just because we have different hair color, just because our skin may be lighter or darker than each others? The value of a human being isn't based on how tall they are, how dark they are, if they're eyes are light, or if they're eyes are dark, the value of a human being can be based on their actions, how they go about through life, doing the right thing and contributing to make this world a better place. Is it possible to say that just because my skin may be lighter or darker, I will not do the right thing, or I will do the right thing? Not acceptable, we cannot base physical traits onto traits that are of integrity of the human being, there is no correlation. Yeah, I'm blonde, I have blue eyes, I'm white, I have friends who are may be dark skinned, with dark eyes, but we're the same! And we walk together, and we talk together, and we go eat together, but I see no difference among us. Maybe other people do, and maybe that has to do because this people do not have the integrity to see the one priority is what they are on the inside. Racism is a form of discrimination. Saying that somebody who has a different skin color is better, or worse than another, is the same as saying "You know what? he's better than me because he has a bigger car", or "he's better than me because he's a man, and I'm a woman", this are physical traits, this are not what make the value of a human being. So as a message to all, NO to racism, NO to sexism, and NO to discrimination" -Juanita Larrain

A movie that talks about racism is INVICTUS, racism in this film is show like something should stop, is stupid and unaceptable.
