Analize Kite runner graphic novel

PANEL 1
Bacground to frontground
In this panel I can apreciate in the back a red carpet with golden borders it seems expensive. Also a big golden lamp and very beutiful forniture with that things I asume that is a wealthy family. I can see two adults taking tea , one is the father of the boy and the other one that is looking the boy is Rahim. That guy looks like kind of surprise of seen amir there, Ican apreciate that the pashtun boy called Amir kind of hiden behand the staircase. The light of the room i can see that in the place that are the two adults are taking tea there is too much light because i think they are infront of a window and in the place that is the boy is less light to make a impression that the boy is hidden.

Int a more subjective point of view I think that the two adults was talking about something that they dont exppect that the boy hear thats why rahim have a surprise face and the body expression of amir i see that is like destroy and depres

panel 2
front to back
There is Baba smoking his pipe looking at amir kind of surprise, and amir is looking at him kind of angry, sad and depress, also in the back we can see the beutiful forniture to confirm that the was a wealthy family

I can interpretat that baba doesnt now that amir was there because of what he said he look surprise but not worried

panel 3

front to back
is the same room but now amir start criying and running uot of the room, in the back rahim looks worried about Amir and he want that him tay ther and baba looks surprise but not as worried as rahim

I think amir start criying because rahim nd baba was talking bad about him and he is a weak and a coward chid

panel 4

Back to front
I can see that now Amir is out of the house, is a big house of a wealthy family, is a white house, and amir looks sad and looking two persons a adult and a child they look like hzara and like the sevant of the family because they are sweeping put of Amir house.  They look very friendship and theyare dressing up with very poor clothes

panel 5
Front to back

in this panel i can see that they are two srevants of the family they lokk like hazara they are dress up with poor clothes in their hands they have brooms but althoug they are pooor yhe looks happy

PANEL 6
Back to front
you can see the gate of the house . Amir trying to escpe out of the house and rahim is trying to catch amir both are running
I think Amir think he have the fault of that his father talk bad of him but rahim is trying to convive amir that his father was not want to said that

PANEL 7
Rahim catch amir and he talk to him about he don have the fault of the death of his mother

My interprtation of the full page is that two adults baba and rahim are talking bad about amir , and he listen and he run away cryiing because he is weak and coward rahim looks perocupated but baba no

Essay

global warming is the most significant environmental problem facing us today.

In this essay I will be discussing if global warming is the most significant environmental problem facing us today. This subject is very topical and affects many people. I will examine arguments against this topic and then I will draw a conclusion based on the facts. I am writing of this topic because I think is a important topic facing us today and everyone should know this.

In my opinion I think that the global warming is a real problem, because the world as we know it can change if the climate changes, in addition the global warming is impacting our water resources, energy supply, transportation, agriculture, and ecosystems, also according to the united states global change research program concludes that the climate changes will impact significantly in costs to our family and the economy of the world. Furthermore scientist warn that if we dont reduce our carbon print, the consecuenses will be terrifying.

Secondly, climate change will impact on the sustainability of food and water supplies in the next decades. The water resources are been affected with the high temperatures, the snow in the mountain and the ice in the poles is melting. According to Tetra tech for the natural resources defense council(NRDC), more than 1000 countries will face higher risks of water shortages by mid-century as the result of global warming and more than 400 will be in extremely high risks of water shortages. What is more if there no water to irritage the fields, it will not be enough food for the  mankind.

Some people argue that the global warming  is a fraud or indeed that the global warming is real but is not the fault of humans and we can not do anything. This is not real a study of Harvard shows that the temperature from 1000-1100 are comparable to those from 1900-1990, and in the two last decades when the use of fossil fuels increases the temperatures started to elevated. That proves that the global warming is cause of humans.

For these reasons and many more I strongly believe that global warming is the most important environmental problem facing today, because global warming is a fact, it impacts people's health and world's economy. I agree with this because food crisis is a problem, causing huge starves worldwide.

GLOBAL WARMING IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ENVIROMENTAL PROBLEM FACING US TODAY. DO YOU AGREE?

Support : http://www.nrdc.org/globalwarming/climatebasics.asp

This page explain the global warming like a real problem, the basic things you should know about the global warming is that the carbon dioxide and the other global warming impulsors are collecting in the atmosphere this cause that the sun´s heat get trapped and causing the planet to warn up. According to the scientists the global warming is impacting our water resources, energy sepply, transportation, agriculture and principaly ecosystems

Against : http://www.davidsuzuki.org/issues/climate-change/science/climate-change-basics/climate-change-deniers/

This source talks about some people that thinks that the global warming is a huge fraud, only a small number of crititcs continue to deny that climate is changing and human are the cause of it. they are know like deniers, they are not scientist and they are generally not climate scientists. The deniers have used alot of arguments against taking action about the global warming, some of that arguments are that the climate change is not acurring, the global climate is actually gettin colder and that the global climate is getting warmer, but not because of human activities.

screenplay : gladiator

After Commodus leaves the arena, feeling humilliated and ashamed of himself, he goes inside and talks to one of his advisers to find a way to solve this problem...
Commodus: I can't believe what they made me do... I would've killed him right there!

Adviser: But Sir... You did what you had to do to avoid everyone hating you or even doing a rebellion for killing their "hero".
Commodus: I know... But it made me look weak, it made them realize they could control me.

Adviser: Don't worry about that, they haven't done anything yet and they won't...

Commodus: I already know that but how can I make them respect me? They should fear me, I can kill them if I want... But today they were controlling me, that's not how Rome works! The Emperor controlling the people is the right thing...

Adviser: You can't kill him, that would just make everyone angry, it can compromise your life, if you want to do something, you must set it up so it looks like something you didn't plan, an "accident", maybe a battle between slaves where you order everyone to kill him, he will die in battle and no one will know you planned it.

Commodus: Actually... It is a good plan, I just need to set things up and I wouldn't have to kill him... No one will think it was me... So there will be no rebellion, great idea... I will start planning everything right now so it is done as soon as possible.

Commodus leaves.

Rationale

I wrote a protest letter about the victims of Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland. It was written with an accusative_ tone and hopes to address the Prime Minister. In my letter,  I tried to present my point of  view  with phrase like “they were just protesting and that is a civil right” and “the english must gave more help to the families of the people killed”. I tried as well to use a sophisticated level of vocabulary with words like civil rights and  polotical action” finally I tried to use complex structures like one might see in a higher level publication such as The New York Times with sentences like “you treated them like dogs with aids and going against civil rights would be like a dicatatorship”. Using these elements I feel I reached my purpose set out in the task. This task addresses the topic “Taking a Stand”  and specially addresses the topic of the abuse of power. I think  a letter of protest helped me to  best express what I learned from the topics we studied in this unit and how I feel about them

Letter of protest

Prime minister David Cameron
The RT Hoom David Cameron MP
10 Downing Street

SWIA"AA

15 May 2014

Dear Mr Cameron,
I am writing to protest against the event that accurred in 30 january 1972, THE BLOODY SUNDAY. That was a tragedy because 13 people wer killed. Because soldiers from british regiment opened fire on a civil rights march in Derty.
I am particulary concerned because you trated people like dogs with aids nd they were killed without reason.
They were just protesting nd that is a civil right. And the soldiers didnt have any right to kill people because of nothing.

In addition, that cirscuntance aso leaded years of violence in Northern Ireland maked a crowd and they burn the British Embassy.
Furthermore, that cirscuntance made that the young people regarded themselves as non_political and anarquist group the IRA. That ffects NOrthern Ireland and that could've be avoided by not killing does 13 people.

Besides, the soldiers started shoting because of nothing, and his orders was only to control the people in the protest not to kill them. They should not happened because the Englands soldiers dont have any right or order to killed the people that was protesting, and protest ia a civil right. And go against civil rights would be like a dictatorship.
Also, the political action was inssufficient because they just apologize or they support the ide of the protestants ´these men were cut down when they matched for justice in their own streets´ but they didnt really help the families in psicological or monetary problems.

It is for these reasons and more that I think the Bloody Sunday should´ve not happened, first because the soldiers should not shoot to the protestants, because they were in their rights. They were stripped of their rights. And also I think the English must gave more help to the families of the people killed.
I looked forward to your responde...
your sincerely

The catcher in the rye

1.- How does Holden change when he visits Mr. Spencer? Do you think Holden is being fake?

A: When Holden Visits Mr. Spencer he doesn't say what he really feels he is really fake "So I shot the bull for a while, I told him I was a real moron".

2.- What is significant about Dr. Thurmer's comment: "Life is a game that one plays according to the rules" What is Holden's opinion about the statement?

A:Dr. Thurmer says that life has rules because it's a game, it means that Thurmer thinks he needs rules to continue his life, but Holden thinks that if you get on the side where all the hot-shots are, then it's a game, but if you get on the other side, where there aren't any hot-shots there's no game and it is nothing.

4.- Why does Holden leave Elkton Hills?

A: Holden leaves Elkton Hills because it was full of phonies, specially the headmaster. "One of the biggest reasons I left Elkton hills was because I was surrounded by phonies. Holden hates the headmaster and how he treated parents in different ways depending on how the were.

5.- Holden says "I'm quite young for mi age," and "I told him I was a real moron and all the stuff". What do these statements tell you about Holden?

A: It tells me that he was really inmature for his age and that he usually acted like a child. "I act quite young for my age sometimes" He constantly acted like a child and he didn't change at all, maybe he realised but didn't try to change even though everyone told him to, thing he hated.

6) why does Holden characterize himsellf as a liar at the beginning of chapter 3 ? what does he lie about? Why do you think he lies?

A: Holden introduces himself at chapter 3, telling us that he's  "The most terrific liar you've ever seen in your life" and he says that he's lied to everyone, like "when somebody asks me where I'm going, I'm liable to say I'm going to the opera". Additionally he has lied to this teacher (old Spencer) too, telling him that he was going to gym. I think he lies because he doesn't trust anyone. As he classifies people in two groups, he doesn't have a good relationship with people so he thinks that he must carry himself.
7.-What is ironic about Holden's statement, "I'm quite illiterate but I read a lot"

A: It's ironic because if he is illiterate that means he can't read but he reads what he likes.
8.-What is Holden's attitude / how does he feel about Ackley?

A: Holden thinks he is really annoying, he enters into Holden's room without knocking, he has a really poor hygiene and he never misses the opportunity to tell him that he is 18 years old and Holden just 16.
9.- How is Stradlater characterized according to Holden and Ackley?

A: According to Ackley he's got a supperior attitude all the time, that he thinks he is intelligent but he isn't.
"The reason you're sore at Stradlater is because he said that stuff about brushing your teeth once in a while"
So probably Ackley just doesn't like Stradlater and that's why he said that. Holden says he is completely different, he says that Stradlater is conceited but very generous in some things. Holden knew him better than Ackley did, also he liked him much more than Ackley did.
10.-Is feeling sorry for something the same as caring?

A: No, to feel sorry for something you need to care for it, if you don't care about a thing or someone you wouldn't feel sorry for it or you wouldn't even mind about it.
